With a career spanning nearly two decades in the agricultural and crop protection sectors, Niel Kruger currently serves as Regional Director for InteliGro South (2023–present). Prior to this role, he held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at WUSA (2022–2023), following a progressive marketing leadership trajectory at InteliGro, where he served as National Marketing Director (2019–2021), National Marketing Manager (2014–2018), and Marketing Manager for InteliGro South (2012–2014). His early technical advisory experience includes roles at Terason (2008–2012) and Hygrotech, both in the South (2006–2007) and Central (2005–2006) divisions.
A former executive committee member of Croplife South Africa, Niel Kruger also played a key role as organizer of the 7th International Biofumigation Symposium in the Western Cape and served as a Winetech technical committee member. He has presented at prominent industry events such as the AVCASA Congress and international forums at Harper Adams University in England, Canada, and South Africa. A published researcher, his work has appeared in the South African Journal of Enology and Viticulture.
